James Jordan Birthday (in memory of Thomas Blanksby)
Story
For James' 2nd birthday, in lieu of birthday gifts, we would like to support the research efforts of the Children's Cancer Institute. My lovely friend Sheryl Blanksby lives in Perth with her husband Jon and 4-year-old son William. They recently said goodbye to their little warrior, Thomas James Miguel Blanksby (28 November 2016 – 8 May 2017), who suffered from childhood cancer. She and her family have been incredibly brave and have cherished every moment with Thomas. As a mum, my heart goes out to them.
In memory of Thomas' life, we would like to donate all of James' birthday monies towards fighting this terrible disease. It may be a small gesture, but every bit counts.
Every year more than 950 children and adolescents will be diagnosed with cancer in Australia. Every week nearly three Australian children will die of cancer. Children’s Cancer Institute exists solely to put an end to childhood cancer through medical research. The Institute’s role is vital – because, despite their progress, cancer still kills more children than any other disease.
Childhood cancer is hugely complex – but Children’s Cancer Institute is confident that with the brightest brains, the best facilities and the greatest determination, they will get the job done.
Please support our efforts by making a secure donation – just click “DONATE”. I would also appreciate it if you could share this page with your family and friends or comment below so more people know about it.
Thank you for your support to cure kids cancer.
Sincerely,
Michael, Shalini and James Jordan
