September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Childhood cancer is something that is not spoken about enough in spite of being the No.1 cause of childhood mortality in Australia.  Every year more than 625 Australian children are diagnosed with cancer. Every week nearly three Australian children die of cancer.  That's three children too many.

My wish this September is to create awareness about childhood cancer and raise funds for the Children's Cancer Institute, the only independent medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicated to childhood cancer.  

I will be taking photos of something yellow every day during the month of September and I will post them as part of my 365 photo project .
